It produces an electrical signal output by converting applied shear stress. Zemic load cells are strongly advised for use in applications involving numerous electronic weighing devices, such as trucks, hoppers, and tracks.

Zemic HM9B Load Cell it is composed of alloy steel with a nickel plating, which is strong enough to support heavy loads. A weighing instrument that has been overloaded may permanently distort the load cell. Calibration is not possible due to permanent deformation of the load cell. Exceeding 300 percent results in measurement errors and distortion of the load cell.
